Workplace Breastfeeding policy

Australian Breastfeeding Association

OPC has shown an ongoing commitment to providing a supportive environment for breastfeeding women by gaining accreditation from the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) as a ‘Breastfeeding Friendly Workplace’.  See the Workplace Breastfeeding policy below for more information.

In July 2010, OPC gained the ABA accreditation of a "Breastfeeding Friendly Workplace". An article on the accreditation was published in the January 2011 edition of the ABA magazine "Essence". OPC plans to maintain the accreditation by having an annual review of policies and procedures by the ABA.
